Baby Frevert has graduated from an embryo to a fetus!! Our baby is now about an inch long - the size of a green olive or grape - and is starting to get facial features. Changes that are happening this week include: Our baby's heart finishes dividing into four chambers, and the valves start to form — as do her tiny teeth. The embryonic "tail" is completely gone. Our baby's organs, muscles, and nerves are kicking into gear. Basically, there is a lot going on inside my belly!
I still feel great - thank goodness!! I do get tired every now and then, but it isn't too bad. One change I noticed this week is my mood swings. Anything and everything makes me cry. I went to Bible Study Tuesday night and the video we watched made me cry (which it shouldn't have bought on those emotions at all), I watched The Glades (a show about solving murder cases) last night and cried, Wes wasn't really listening to me the other night, so I cried. I feel like I can't go out in public, because I can't control what will set my tears in motion these days.
On a happier note, Wes and I have plans to go to Sarasota, FL for a little Babymoon! It will be nice to get away from Gainesville for a couple of days and enjoy the beach.
