Duke & Daisy go to the BEACH!!
Yesterday Wes and I took Duke & Daisy to St. Augustine Beach. We weren't sure how they would react to the water, but they both LOVED it!! It was fun to watch Daisy & Duke run full speed into the water, jumping over the waves like they have been doing it all their lives. The first time a wave went over their heads, I was little worried to how they would react, but it didn't phase them at all!
Here are some pictures from our trip:
Taking a little break from getting submerged by waves!
Overall, it was a really great day, but I don't know how often we are going to take the puppies to the beach. The bottom line is, it is A LOT of work!!! Not to mention that we probably have 5 gallons of sand in our car now. I'm thinking it might be a 1-2 times per year event. Maybe we can find a dog friendly pool in Gainesville! :)

My head is exploding....
Wes & I have done a lot to our house since we moved in last year, such as.....
Painted our bedroom
Bought a matching a bedroom set - our first one since we have been married
Bought a new kitchen table, couch, desk/book shelves, 2 area rugs & bar stools
Finally framed our big wedding picture...it only took us 4 years.
But we still have a lot left to do. This is what I hope we can do in the next 6 months....
Paint our dining room & guest bathroom
Get a buffet, new media center and chair for the desk
Hang curtains
Refinish the dresser in our guest bedroom
Put up black splash in kitchen
The only problem with this little to do list is, I like too many styles and don't know what direction to go in. I'm worried that I may pick things that are all over the place and people are going to say to themselves, "what was she thinking?" Of course, there are other problems like money and time, or else this to do list would already be accomplished.
I am almost done with our bedroom - I just need to hang curtains and find one more piece to go above Wes' dresser. Once I have that done, I will post pictures.

Dentist
Tomorrow I get my wisdom teeth pulled.
For the next 3-4 days my diet will will consist of applesauce, pudding, yogurt, ice cream and V8 juice.
I'm happy Wes is on an easy rotation and will be able to take care of me!

Welcome to Miami....
Last weekend my sorority sister, Heather, came to visit Wes & I for Memorial Day weekend! To say we had fun would be an understatement!
We traveled to a lot of cities while Heather was in town, but the highlight of the trip was MIAMI!! It was the first time to Miami for each of us, and it did not disappoint! Our timing might have been a little off, or just right, depending on who you are. The Sizzle Convention was going on in downtown Miami. If you don't know what the Sizzle Convention is - which I'm assuming/hoping most of you don't - go here to find out: http://www.sizzlemiami.com/
We started our visit with a trip to SOUTH BEACH!! All the hype about beautiful people was a let down. I will say this though, Florida girls are very comfortable with their bodies, even here in Gainesville. I feel like it is starting to rub off on me. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to pack on any extra pounds or anything, but I have realized I don't need to be a size zero to appreciate my body.
Real men wear these shorts to the beach:
Side Note - South Beach probably isn't the place to take small children. There were multiple guys wearing man-thongs and girls walking around topless.
Wes, me, Heather & Frank on the beach! The water was amazing! Perfect temperature and pretty clear. Overall, I was pretty impressed with South Beach and would like to go back!
I'll end with a couple of picture of us out on the town!
