Work has been great so far! I really like my job and love the people I work with! The best part of my job is the location!
Emerson Alumni Hall!! Located in midtown and within walking distance to an array of fabulous restaurants! The food down here is to die for! Gainesville has many great locally owned restaurants. One of my favorites is Tijuana Flats! You can't beat Taco Tuseday!
The best part of EAH is....
It is right across the street from the football stadium!! Got to love this view! I can't wait for football season and Gator Nation tailgates!
Here are Wes' homes away from home..
Shands Hospital is where Wes will spend most of his intern year while rotating through his various surgical rotations.
Wes will spend the majority of his career at UF at the Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Institute. This is where Tim Tebow had his throwing motion analyzed.
As you can see, we are loving Gainesville! Wes' schedule is pretty busy, so we enjoy to spend our free time trying out new restaurants around town. (Even the chains restaurants down here are different.) I recently got Wes to try crab and scallops. And guess what??? He loved them! :)

Woodchuck Cider
Wes and I aren't big drinkers, but Friday night we discovered that you can make your own six pack at the local liquor store. We took full advantage of this and got a variety of beers we have never tried before. This is when I discovered Woodchuck Cider! YUMMY!! This might be my favorite beer now! Although, Wes keeps reminding me, "it isn't beer, it is cider." haha! Wes really liked it, too. It is sweet, but has a dry aftertaste. I had the Granny Smith flavor, but they also have Amber, Raspberry, Pear and 802 Dark & Dry. The best part is, it is made in Vermont! So, I get delicious cider, while supporting an American company.
I love the disclaimer they put on their website: *Dislike of Woodchuck Amber may be a sign of serious tongue injury. Consult your doctor.

DUKE!
Here are some updated pictures of Duke.
Duke is getting so big!
Duke and I spending some quality time together.
This is how Duke and daddy spend the day. Wes has been working nights, so Duke spends the day laying on him. Duke really likes to cuddle!
