Our Room is Painted...

Today Wes and I spent the afternoon painting our bedroom. We chose the color Light French Gray from Behr. Here is sample from myperfectcolor.com



We really liked the pale gray color with blue undertones, and thought it would be great with our Mahogany furniture. However, when the paint dried it looked more like this:



I am really happy with the color, but I still don't understand how it looks so different dried. We used Behr with primer and even put a sample up on our wall the day before we painted. Oh well, it all worked out...just confused. :)

Our furniture arrives Tuesday!!! SO EXCITED! Once we get the room together I will post pictures.

New Beginning

Tomorrow I start my first day of work at the University. I am really excited and nervous. I am excited to FINALLY get out of the house, meet people and feel productive. However, I think whenever anyone starts a new job there is always a little anxiety there. What if no one likes me, what if I totally screw up, etc. I'll have to let you know how my first day goes.

This weekend Wes and I have big plans - paint the bedroom! We want to get the room painted before our furniture arrives. Yes, we finally bought bedroom furniture!! We no longer have to use the hodgepodge collection we have now! Although, I think we made it work. ;)
